Downpipes/Decats

A Downpipe is the first part of the exhaust after leaving the exhaust manifold or turbo. Most downpipes contain the cars Catalytic Converter or CAT for short.  On some car models the CAT can also be found before or after the downpipe. Many OEM downpipes and CATs are very restrictive to the Exhaust flow which reduces the power/torque of the engine and also increases turbo spool time. Our downpipe/decats are designed to remove the restrictive OEM downpipe and CATs which will improve both Power and Torque and on Turbo models reduce the time for the Turbo to Spool.

Please note that apart from some Diesel Models most cars require a functioning CAT to pass a UK MOT test.
