Vibratechnics test our FR3s

Vibratechnics have taken it upon themselves to "test" our uprated FR3 mounts and came to the following conclusions:

• The FR3 RHS mount is a direct copy of the OE mount but produced in a harder rubber compound and supplied without any damping fluid inside.
• The FR3 LHS mount is a direct copy of the OE mount except for the bump stop and is produced in a harder compound.

• I've driven a 1.8T with them fitted and the difference they make is unreal - no slack in the drivetrain at all!

• I've had the THS FR3 mounts on mine (gearbox and engine mounts) for about 3 months now and traction is noticably better. Not had any increase in vibrations at low revs either, which some people worry about with poly bushings, after a week or so of bedding in it's now no worse than oem mounts even at idle.
